Franz Viehböck

Born in Vienna in 1960, Franz Viehböck studied electrical engineering at Vienna University of Technology andwas awarded his degree in 1985. After training as an astronaut, he spent time on the Mir space station in 1991.
As part of an elite group of just over 500 people who have gone into space, the former Boeing manager brought his pioneering spirit to Berndorf Band when he joined the company’s management team in 2002.
Franz Viehböck has held various positions at the Berndorf Group over the course of more than two
decades. In 2008 he was appointed to the Berndorf
AG Management Board as CTO. He took up his current post of Berndorf Group CEO in 2020.

Born in Linz in 1964. Studied social and economic sciences at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, graduating with a degree in economics in 1990.
The flying change from a recently completed degree in economics to the practice of the globally active “hidden champion” Berndorf Band once brought the young citizen of the world to Berndorf.
Dietmar Müller has held various positions in the Berndorf Group for more than three decades. He has held his current position as CFO of the Berndorf Group since 2008.
Mag. Thomas Karazmann

Born in Vienna in 1968. After studying business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, he entered the world of finance in 1993.
Since 1998, Thomas Karazmann has held management positions at international industrial and technology companies such as VA TECH AG and Siemens AG - several years of which were spent abroad.
This was followed by a position as CFO of VAMED AG.
From 2018, he took over the CFO agendas of Pankl AG, Pankl Racing Systems AG and SHW AG.
Thomas Karazmann has been Chief Financial Officer of Berndorf AG since May 2025.
