BERNDORF – Effective July 1, 2025, Thomas Karazmann will take over as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Berndorf AG from Dietmar Müller, marking the beginning of a new era in the executive board of Berndorf AG. The 56-year-old Viennese, most
recently CFO of the Pankl Group, prepared for this role through an intensive company visit program alongside his predecessor. Dietmar Müller, who is not renewing his executive board mandate after four terms, looks back on 35 successful years in Berndorf and is continuing his impressive career as an entrepreneur. Together with CEO Franz Viehböck, Thomas Karazmann will now lead Berndorf AG, which heads the Berndorf Group with operations in 20 countries worldwide, into the future.

Well-Prepared Leadership Transition at Berndorf AG

Franz Viehböck is confident that the joint cooperation with his new board partner will be successful, “because Berndorf’s tradition of well-prepared leadership transitions has also been upheld in the handover to Thomas Karazmann.”
 

Outgoing CFO Dietmar Müller sees continuity in leadership as a key success factor for Berndorf: “I’m grateful that so many within the group have worked together toward common goals.
